What makes you passionate about what you do?

"I have always loved sports and, like most people, my dreams of being a pro athlete faded out long ago. Being able to work with athletic field managers keeps me connected and in the game. I enjoy passing along the tricks of the trade that I learned along the way."

What does ATS offer that your competitors don't?

"It all starts with having the right people in place to be able to give the customer the best level of service. I know that ATS has the right people to help solve any issue a customer may be dealing with."

Describe [a] customer problem(s) you are proud of solving:

"Helping a baseball association improve their skinned infield. The field had multiple issues and was frequently rained out. Doing a soil test to determine the proper infield mix for them was crucial to help with the rainouts and playability of the field. The other part of the problem was just a lack of understanding of some of the methods used to help maintain a baseball infield. By recommending the right products based on testing for their site and spending the extra time training staff on those products, I know I was able to give that facility a long-term solution and correct their issue the first time."

What's your best turf tip?

"Walk your fields daily. You would be surprised at how much more you notice by walking than you do riding in a cart."
