Yes, we’re talking about the common cereal crop most often used in the production of baking flour. Sadly, wheat plants frequently show up this time of year in lawns that were meticulously planted the previous fall.
Every time you turn around these days, it seems like there’s a new supply chain issue. This has no doubt affected us all in some way, and even the most-used herbicides in the world, glyphosate-based products, have given pain to the green industry.
And now . . . they’re jumping? Unfortunately, I’m not talking about armyworms jumping off a cliff — I’m referring to the invasive Asian jumping worm.
