Herbicides
Velocity PM Poa Management Herbicide, by Nufarm, provides post-emergent control over Poa annua, Poa trivialis, and broadleaf weeds on select cool-season and warm-season turfgrasses. It contains bispyribac-sodium (37.57%) and can also suppress dollar spot.
StriCore Herbicide, by SePRO, pre-emergently controls hard-to-manage weeds like goosegrass, Poa annua, and crabgrass. It is effective on over 50 types of broadleaf weeds, sedges, and grasses on both cool- and warm-season turf. Stricore contains pethoxamid (46.88%) and integrates seamlessly into tank mixes.
Allstar Herbicide, by Nufarm, is a four-way, broad-spectrum herbicide designed to selectively control broadleaf weeds, sedges, and grassy weeds on cool- and warm-season turf. A powerful combination of 2,4-D (12.81%), quinclorac (9.45%), triclopyr (1.48%), and sulfentrazone (0.64%), it targets troublesome weeds like crabgrass, wild violet, and yellow nutsedge.
Insecticides
Durentis Insecticide, by FMC, provides season-long control over insects, including ABW, bagworms, and all grub types. It contains chlorantraniliprole (47.85%), a new proprietary ingredient by FMC. Durentis works quickly to establish a zone of protection around plant roots, and as a systemic, it enters the plant quickly with minimal irrigation.
Altus, by Envu, is a systemic, broad-spectrum insecticide that controls sucking pests like whiteflies, aphids, and leafhoppers. It can be applied as a spray or drench application before, during, or after plants bloom. Altus contains flupyradifurone (17.09%) and kills target insects quickly without negatively impacting beneficial insects like honeybees.
Fungicides
Aramax™ Intrinsic® Brand Fungicide, by BASF, offers long-lasting protection against turfgrass diseases, including snow mold, patch diseases, dollar spot, and more. Aramax is a unique suspension concentrate formulation of triticonazole (17.95%) and pyraclostrobin (15.80%).
ArmorTech FluZoxy-T, by United Turf Alliance, provides broad-spectrum control of turfgrass diseases like anthracnose and dollar spot on golf courses. FluZoxy-T uses a unique combination of three types of contact and systemic fungicides: fluazinam (19.5%), tebuconazole (6.8%), and azoxystrobin (6.2%).
ArmorTech Prothio 4L, by United Turf Alliance, is a curative and preventative product that combats 15 of the toughest diseases golf course superintendents can encounter. Prothio 4L is a systemic, demethylation inhibitor-based (DMI) fungicide that contains prothioconazole (41%).
Equipment
The SGXL All-Granular, by Steel Green Manufacturing, is a ride-on spreader created exclusively for granular applications. It features a 350-pound stainless steel hopper and comes standard with side trays that can carry up to 500 pounds of additional product, giving it a total capacity of 850 pounds. Its hydraulic power spinner motor can spread up to 25 feet wide, allowing operators to complete jobs quickly and efficiently.
The BurrowRx Carbon Monoxide Sprayer, by Quality Manufacturing and Distributing, Inc., is a pest control device designed to eliminate burrowing rodents that damage properties. The device targets the pests directly via carbon monoxide and uses a smoke oil tracer so operators can track dispersal. Please contact your ATS rep for more details about this product.
Soil Surfactants
Advanced Turf Solutions partnered with The Aquatrols Company to co-brand a new soil surfactant called HydroPak Adapt, the latest addition to the HydroPak line. Adapt is an infiltration and hydration surfactant designed to efficiently manage water. Adapt’s specialized formula maximizes rainwater and irrigation absorption while also prolonging hydration, helping users conserve water and minimize their labor needs.
