For a strong start to the spring sports season, now’s the time to complete field maintenance that will benefit turf health and player safety in the year to come. Prepare your field for success with these fall routines.

Aerify

The first step of fall maintenance is aerification. You’ll want to determine your goals for the project before choosing which type of aerification is right for your field, taking into consideration the surface area you have to cover. Read more here.

Overseed

Next is overseeding. If done correctly, this practice helps fill in those worn areas at the end of the season, improving turf density for the following year. Read more here.

Topdress
