Employee Spotlight: Keith Blondell

In our latest employee spotlight, we would like to introduce you to Elk Grove Village, Illinois, driver Keith Blondell. When we asked Rusty Stachlewitz to name an outstanding candidate for the spotlight, he didn’t hesitate to name Keith.

“Keith is a highly dedicated team player. No matter what we ask of Keith, he willingly accommodates. I have never heard him complain, and he’s always willing to go the extra mile. Many of my customers know him by name, and they have complimentary things to say about the way he carries out his job. Beyond being a terrific co-worker, Keith is an interesting guy. What do you like about working at ATS?

I enjoy the people I work with- everyone is upbeat! I also have great bosses, and I like the growth and great career opportunities.

What outdoor activities do you like?

I love anything outdoors- camping, biking, hiking, sport fishing, bass and pike fishing. I’ve been kayak fishing for over 10 years, and I recently bought a new boat. I have uploaded videos of some of my catches on YouTube. Sometimes, I go fishing right after work, so you may notice that I’m wearing a familiar shirt in some of the videos!

Which celebrity would you like to take fishing?

I would have to take a professional fisherman like Kevin VanDam or Mike Iaconelli with me. It would be a lot of fun to fish with them and learn their techniques… plus they have really nice boats.

What are your favorite sports teams?

I am a Chicago guy so I definitely am a fan of the Bears and Blackhawks.

What’s your favorite snack?

I have a bad sweet tooth. Anything chocolate!
