Crabgrass Control Thinking Out Side Of The Box
Traditionally, pre-emergent crabgrass control is applied in the spring. Even more traditionally, it is applied about the same time as the forsythia blooms, which is usually mid to late April in Central Indiana. However, with today’s technologies, tradition is no longer the norm.
If You Build It Then It Will Come
The line, “if you build it, they will come” is well known from the movie Field of Dreams. I like to apply a variation of this line to my methodology for growing healthy turf. If you build healthy soil (“it”) then what “comes” of this practice is healthy turf. Or in other words, “If you build it, then it will come.”
