Nikki Hendrickson Receives 2023 Women in the Green Industry Award

Green Industry Pros recently honored Nikki Hendrickson as one of the winners of the 2023 Women in The Green Industry Award. Nikki Hendrickson is a sales representative at Advanced Turf Solutions. 

The annual Women in the Green Industry Award recognizes outstanding female leaders whose accomplishments offer a road map for other women looking to shape and advance the green industry.

“This year’s list is full of women who embody what it means to be a female leader in the green industry,” said Sarah Webb, editor of Green Industry Pros. “The number of nominees we received this year proves that women are continuing to gain strong footholds in the industry, and we’re excited as a publication to be a part of that. Without their contributions, the green industry wouldn’t be where it is today.”

Nikki’s contributions include decades of leadership in industry organizations. She has served on the boards of the Indiana Professional Lawn & Landscape Association (IPLLA), Midwest Regional Turf Foundation (MRTF), and Indiana Outdoor Management Alliance. She has also been involved in the Agricultural Alumni Association at her alma mater, Purdue University. As another way to inspire the future of the industry, Nikki volunteers with 4-H and helps students with their entomology projects.

“Nikki absolutely deserves this award,” said Rick Grant, who is Nikki’s sales manager at Advanced Turf Solutions. “She has spent her career bettering the industry, not just looking for the next sale. ATS is lucky to have her.”
