Advanced Turf Solutions Welcomes Two New Golf Sales Representatives

We are excited to announce that we have welcomed two new golf course sales representatives in Ohio. Matt Welch (left) will serve Northeast Ohio and Don Lawrence (right) will serve Northwest Ohio.

Matt Welch brings 17 years of experience in the industry and was previously a golf equipment sales representative at Century Equipment, the Toro distributor for Ohio. Earlier in his career, Welch spent 10 years as golf course superintendent.

Additionally, Welch has worked with the Northern Ohio Golf Course Superintendents Association (NOGCSA) and Ohio State University to perform multiple research projects for superintendents in Northeast Ohio. A graduate of Ohio State University- Agricultural Technical Institute in Wooster, Ohio, Welch also has a SCPS certification in sales through Sales and Marketing Executives International, Inc. (SMEI).

Don Lawrence joins our team with decades of experience in sales, golf course management, and accounting. He was previously in sales at the turf division of Legacy Farmers Cooperative. Beginning in 1999, Lawrence was the superintendent and later general manager at Red Hawk Run Golf Course in Findlay, Ohio, for 10 years.

Lawrence is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a B.B.A. in Accounting and has a Turfgrass Management Certificate from Michigan State University.
