Today, ATS serves customers in 30 states with 32 store locations and 120 outside sales representatives. While protecting its legacy of authentic relationships and second-to-none service, ATS is evolving to meet the needs of the next generation of customers. The company is seeking an experienced e-commerce manager to spearhead its transition into a hybrid sales model that combines personal selling with digital commerce.

 

Job Summary

The e-commerce manager at Advanced Turf Solutions will develop, implement, and manage the company’s e-commerce strategy, lead the launch of a new e-commerce website, drive online sales, and enhance the overall digital customer experience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

E-commerce Strategy Development

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with company goals and objectives
  • Identify opportunities for growth and optimization with e-commerce

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Lead cross-functional team meetings, including marketing, sales, IT, and operations to direct e-commerce efforts
  • Manage partner relationships

Website Management

  • Oversee the maintenance and optimization of our e-commerce websites, ensuring functionality, usability, and responsiveness
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to continuously enhance the online shopping experience

Product Management

  • Manage product listings, descriptions, and imagery on the e-commerce platform
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and relevance of product information to optimize conversions and customer satisfaction

Digital Marketing

  • Partner with the director of marketing to form our overall digital marketing strategy
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns that drive traffic, engagement, and sales on the e-commerce platform
  • Manage digital advertising campaigns
  • Use various channels such as SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media to maximize online visibility and reach

Customer Experience

  • Implement strategies to enhance the overall online shopping experience, including streamlined checkout processes, personalized recommendations, and responsive customer support
  • Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements as needed

Analytics and Reporting

  • Utilize web analytics tools to track key performance metrics, analyze trends, and generate actionable insights
  • Provide regular reporting on e-commerce performance and make data-driven recommendations for optimization

Inventory Management

  • Develop and execute online sales forecasts, and partner with operations and purchasing teams to ensure accurate product availability and timely order fulfillment
  • Implement inventory tracking and forecasting processes to optimize stock levels and minimize out-of-stock situations

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or related field
  • Proven experience in e-commerce management
  • In-depth knowledge of e-commerce platforms, preferably Salesforce Commerce
  • Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and e-commerce analytics
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and initiatives
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes and ROI
