"Use the highest quality fertilizer and grass seed you can possibly afford to use, both in the short and long term. It will pay off. Take grass seed for example. Genetics are often overlooked in residential lawn care because it is so competitive, and people buy a name brand they have heard of. Better genetics in the bag may increase the cost a few bucks in the fall, but when the property looks much better in coming years, it pays dividends.”
