As the growing season nears an end, lower sunlight and temperatures will result in reduced plant activity. This program will help your turf maximize photosynthesis, improve carbohydrate storage, and enhance the hardening off process prior to winter stress.

Amino acids improve nutrient uptake and increase the plant’s production of key anti-stress osmolytes, while potassium ensures proper osmotic regulation and enzyme functioning. This helps the plant transform glucose to starch and improve the its ability to survive cold temperature stress, traffic stress, and snow mold pressures.

Apply these products in tank mix solution at recommended label rates at least twice before winter dormancy. Since amino acids will enhance uptake of systemic control products, include necessary fungicides, snow mold controls, and growth regulators with these late season sprays.

Foliar-Pak Foundation Forty Highly concentrated amino acid formula increases the plant’s production of chlorophyll, energy, and anti-stress compounds. Also increases the uptake and performance of snow mold controls in the tank-mix. Rate: 1-1.5 oz per 1,000

Foliar-Pak 1-0-15 Improves plant osmotic functions and encourages energy storage and enzyme production. Ensures proper hardening off to improve freeze and desiccation tolerance. Rate: 3-6 oz per 1,000

Foliar-Pak Amperage Iron, manganese, and zinc drive photosynthesis later into autumn, despite cooler temperatures and lower sunlight, while molasses provides sugars when plant production decreases. Rate: 3 oz per 1,000
