I came across this article (link below) on TurfMagazine.com and thought it was an excellent review of turf insects and controls we need to consider for the upcoming season.
For those of us that live in Ohio we probably know who “THE BUG DOC” is. Dr. David Shetlar, professor of urban landscape entomology at The Ohio State University. He is our authority and strategist on controlling insects in the turf and ornamental markets. With our mild winter I would suspect plenty of opportunities to manage our customers greenscapes from insect problems. This would be another revenue booster for 2012.
