Employee Spotlight April

Spring is a fun, exciting, and busy time for ATS and no one knows that better than the employees in operations. They work very hard to achieve customer satisfaction by getting orders ready and out to our customers. Let’s get to know two operations employees, who are excited to help our customers this spring: Ryan Baker and Marcus Sczesny.

Operations and Sales Support, ATS Fleet Truck Record Keeping

Marcus is an essential employee to our Hilliard and Fishers operations. He assists customers at the front counter, answers incoming phone calls, maintains the record keeping for our entire fleet of trucks, picks orders, and unloads and loads inbound and outbound freight. He always has a smile on his face and is happy to help our customers.

What is your favorite part of your job?
“The new challenges it brings every day. Meeting new people all the time is great too.”

We are currently in our busiest time of the year for your job, so, what would you say has been your biggest accomplishment so far?
“Becoming flexible to meet customer needs. I proactively took steps before the rush of the busy season began to allow myself the ability to be flexible and satisfy customers’ needs when a challenge came along.” 

What do you like to do when you are not working at ATS?
“Being a brand new dad to my baby girl. I also like going on adventures, like rafting, but being a dad is my favorite.”

What song do you get stuck in your head most often?
“The Mahna Mahna song performed by the Muppets.”

ATS Delivery Driver and Holganix Technician

Ryan is a standout when it comes to customer service; he has amazing temperament and is always smiling and happy to serve our customers. He is also a key employee in ensuring proper order selection. He double and triple checks orders with the customer at the time of delivery for their products. Ryan has also been a key asset in our Holganix refill program. He has learned and maintained all the bulk refill locations with our ATS customers.

What is your favorite part of your job?
“Seeing new sights and meeting new people. Every day brings something new.”

We are currently in our busiest time of the year for your job, so, what would you say has been your biggest accomplishment so far?
“Making sure all customers are satisfied. I strive to make sure all customers are happy, have all the products they ordered, and have a smile on their face when I leave.”

What do you like to do when you are not working at ATS?
“I like to hang out with my girl friend and ride my motorcycle. I also like to go camping and snowboarding. I have gone snowboarding all over Colorado and California and I really love it.”

What song do you get stuck in your head most often?
“Champagne Showers by LMFAO”
