Sports Turf Field Manager

JOB SUMMARY

The Sports Turf Field Manager will be responsible for making sure their warehouse and equipment is running safely and efficiently to support the core business of ATS. The Field Manager is responsible for making sure all employees understand their specific jobs responsibilities and are given the appropriate tools and training to be successful.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Promote a positive and safe work environment
  • Promote company culture and values
  • Organizes equipment and staff based on daily and weekly work loads
  • Manages the preventative maintenance of equipment and schedules repairs as needed
  • Ensures all projects are set up for success and completed successfully – product where it needs to be, work order data completed, budget and scheduling followed
  • Oversees the cleaning and organization of the warehouse
  • Helps with the hiring, coaching and terminations of employees
  • Helps to create policies, procedures and efficiencies based on current and past experience
  • Ensures Salesforce is up to date weekly
  • Controls and Manages employee schedules and maintains the overtime budget
  • Field Work as needed
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Turf Management, Golf Course Management, Horticulture or a
    related field
  • 3-5 years of field experience working both maintenance and construction
  • 1-3 years of management
  • 3B Pesticide License – Can obtain once hired
  • Class A CDL – Can obtain once hired
  • Fork-lift certified – Can obtain once hired
