JOB SUMMARY

The role of the HR Administrative Assistant is to support the Human Resources department with a variety of tasks which include but are not limited to recruiting, training, maintaining employee files, and benefit administration.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answers employee questions
  • Maintains HR files and databases
  • Compiles reports and spreadsheets
  • Participates in recruiting and new hire process
  • Prepares new hire files
  • Provides general administrative support
  • Helps in payroll management
  • Helps with assigned projects
  • Other tasks as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Must be organized, accurate and detail-oriented
  • Must be able to prioritize and plan long and short-term goals
  • Must be able to communicate both written and orally
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to work independently as well as with a team

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate’s Degree in Human Resources, Communications or Business Administration
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google platforms
  • 1-3 years working with upper-management
  • 1-3 years working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented position
