The Assistant Facility Manager helps oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of their specific facility. They need to work hand in hand with the Facility Manager to ensure productivity and efficiency on all operational tasks.


  • Support the facility manager in the implementation of short and long term goals
  • Assist in the development of the annual budget for their facility
  • Assists with making sure all repairs and maintenance on warehouse and equipment are done timely and in a cost-efficient way
  • Responsible for making sure the warehouse is clean, organized and OSHA compliant at all times
  • Assist with inventory counts
  • Help with walk-in/onsite customers
  • Manages the Fed-Ex station to ensure all orders go out timely and accurately
  • Understand the route schedule and if needed be able to coordinate if facility manager is away
  • Understand the disciplinary process and how it works
  • Observes the hiring, training and termination of employees
  • Maintain service schedules
  • Assist facility manager on all day to day items

  • Associates Degree in Turf Management, Argonomics, Business Administration or an equivalent degree
  • 2-4 years of industry experience
  • 1-3 years of warehouse experience
  • Valid Driver’s License
