Assistant Facility Manager

The Assistant Warehouse Manager helps oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of their specific warehouse. They need to work hand-in-hand with the Warehouse Manager to ensure productivity and efficiency on all operational tasks.


  • Supports the Facility Manager in the implementation of short- and long-term goals by helping to create a team environment
  • Achieves financial objectives by assisting in the development and monitoring of the annual budget for their facility
  • Responsible for making sure the warehouse is clean, organized and OSHA compliant at all times
  • Help with walk-in/onsite customers
  • Manages the FedEx station to ensure all orders go out timely and accurately
  • Understand the route schedule and if needed be able to coordinate if Warehouse Manager is away
  • Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling and disciplining employees while also planning, monitoring and appraising job results
  • Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees
  • Maintain service schedules
  • Assists Warehouse Manager on all day-to-day items
  • Order entry
  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
  • Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling

  • Associates Degree in Warehouse Management or related
  • Turf knowledge preferred
  • 2-4 years of industry experience
  • 1-3 years of warehouse experience
  • Valid driver’s license
